Privacy, without the fine-print fog.
This policy explains what information MotionVault receives, why it is used, and the choices available to you when you browse our gallery, subscribe to our newsletter, or create an account.
Information we collect
- Newsletter and account information: your email address and, if you previously created an account, its identifier and basic profile details.
- Service information: essential session data and technical logs such as timestamps, browser details, and IP address that help operate and protect the service.
How we use information
We use this information to send design updates you requested, support previously created accounts, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and protect the service.
MotionVault does not sell your personal information or use account data for advertising.
Payments
MotionVault is currently a free inspiration and curation platform. New paid subscriptions and checkout are disabled, and MotionVault does not collect payment card information.
Service providers
We rely on Supabase for newsletter, account, and database services, and Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, and security. Stripe may retain historical transaction records for users who subscribed before paid access was paused. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services and are governed by their respective terms and privacy practices.
Retention and security
We retain newsletter signup records and, where applicable, existing account or historical transaction records as reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and financial recordkeeping. We use access controls and encrypted connections, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
If you subscribed before paid access was paused, you can still manage or cancel that existing subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your newsletter signup or account. Some transaction records may need to be retained where required by law or legitimate accounting needs.
Children
MotionVault is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
